Why doTERRA?

The other thing that really touched me was their concept of co-impact sourcing. It is one of the best examples of a win-win situation. With co-impact sourcing, crops are grown where the growing conditions produce the most potent essential oil. These places are often found in areas where poverty is a major problem. doTERRA makes partnerships with the farmers and the local distillers. These local partners are paid well and the communities are strengthened. doTERRA has helped to bring these people clean water, schools, medical clinics. By purchasing and using the essential oils that come from these areas, the people are given a way to rise above poverty. This to me is just as important as the quality of the oils. If I can help someone by using a product, I am all for it.
The whole attitude of doTERRA in general is that of empowerment and service. I have been to several of the annual conventions. The first time I went, I was stunned. The top people didn't talk about the expensive lifestyle they were able to afford with their successes. They talked about the humanitarian trips they were able to go on, the people's lives they were able to help and the service they were able to provide. Every time I go to the yearly conventions, I walk away lifted up ready to find new ways to serve. Outside of church, I have never seen anything like it!
